After a very successful event last year we were again invited to return to the Barton Grange Hotel Wedding Fayre with our vis-à-vis Carriage, as the only horse drawn carriage in attendance. Thank you again to Barton Grange for a fantastic and very busy wedding fayre. Also thank you to all who enquired about our carriage and we look forward to providing the perfect arrival for the couples that booked with us.

We had the fantastic honour this year of standing in for Rudolph to deliver Santa to Dobbies Garden Centre, Clifton, near Preston, where he has a grotto. We arrived to a fanfare and were greeted by hundreds of cheering, wide-eyed children, a full brass band and a bell ringing town cryer!!

Dobbies Garden Centre Santa Arrival—19th November 2011 |

Gem was, as always, a true professional and even took the sight of the huge carousel in her stride. Everyone enjoyed stroking her and the gold glitter elf dust varnish on her hooves was a major hit with the children!
|
|
As you can see, Gem was wearing her Christmas quarter rug, her stunning red plume and was decorated with bells so she not only looked perfect, but sounded great every time she moved.

Congratulations to Dobbies for hosting and Emma Shawcross for organising the event . Dobbies Garden Centre, Preston - www.dobbies.co.uk - 01772 683844 Emma Shawcross - emma.shawcross@hotmail.com - 01253 868656/07825770261

This little boy had obviously been very good this year as his Christmas wish to arrive with Santa was granted!

We are in there somewhere, just look for Gem’s plume! As you can see, we are well used to busy situations with many noises and distractions. The children are able to get up close to stroke Gem which adds to the magic of the event, which is why we regularly train for busy situations such as this. Jo is a gold member of the British Horse Society and we are fully insured for your event however large or small.

The town cryer testing Gem’s training to the limit! She really did behave impeccably all day. We are so proud of her.
